Technical Leadership

• Define and own the long-term technical vision, architecture, and engineering roadmap.

• Ensure the platform is scalable, resilient, secure, and compliant.

• Lead decisions on infrastructure, tooling, performance, and security.

Team Leadership & Execution

• Lead and mentor the engineering team across frontend, backend, DevOps and QA.

• Own recruitment and team growth.

• Establish engineering best practices and drive fast, reliable delivery.

• Coordinate work across internal teams and external partners.

Operational Excellence

• Own uptime, performance, monitoring, and incident management.

• Ensure safe deployments, migrations, and updates in a 24/7 environment.

• Enforce strong security and data protection standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with founders on product and strategic decisions.

• Collaborate on blockchain integration, risk systems, and payments infrastructure.

• Align engineering output with operator needs, compliance, and commercial priorities.

Required Experience

• 6+ years in software engineering and 2–3 years in a lead or head-of-engineering role.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript, NodeJs, PostgreSQL, and modern web technologies.

• Experience with large-scale, real-time or high-traffic systems.

• Deep AWS knowledge.

• Blockchain experience is a plus.

• Proven ability to lead teams, define roadmaps, and deliver complex products.
